ABOUT US
The Springfield Township Historical Society is located in historic Davisburg, Michigan.
We have the James Harvey Davis house built circa 1872. Davisburg is named is named after this family. Inside of the circa 1872's house we have some of the original furniture that moved with the Davis Family from New York State in the early part of the 1880's.
We also have the Schultz Harness Shop right downtown Davisburg, it was built 1905 and housed a clock repair shop, barber shop, harness shop, and now a museum that features the original telephone switchboard from Davisburg.
We offer tours of both of our historic buildings, due to our size we are not open on a regular basis and we try to open when there is a local event in town.
